Foreword

Inertia and Gravity are the most common reasons why people will part company with their hard earned cash at the entrance to a theme park.

To stimulate all the senses within the human body and mind, condensed into just a few hours of enjoyment, is the usual reason for the popularity of this type of relaxation. Over the years the roller coaster has been the main attraction and the park that offers the biggest thrills on this particular ride are generally, the most successful.

In a strange way the roller coaster bares a remarkable parallel to life. There is a long climb towards the top and complete maturity, and the rest is all downhill with a few twists and turns on the way. The higher the start; the more volatile our descent towards the final destination. Along the way we experience extremes of emotions that will eventually bring into perspective the true meaning of our lives. Not every aspect is hilariously funny but there again it is unlikely that sadness and despair will last indefinitely. In effect the counterbalance has produced a much better perception, and eventually decisions become far more educated and effective.

Prepare yourself now for the ride of a life. Make sure you are seated comfortably and that the emotional harness is in the locked position. Watch out for those unexpected humps and brace yourself now for the many acute twists and turns. Insurance at this late stage is useless! Towards the end of the ride it would be advisable to keep a sharp look out for dead mans curve. Many a participant has lost their nerve at this particular point. Make sure that, before you alight from the vehicle that it has come to a complete standstill and you have completely finished what you started, but, above all remember; It's not what it seems.
