Our experience in this part of the bookbinding trade is almost without equal and dates back to the days when hand gold finishing with real gold leaf was a common practice.

Today however; the gold foil is usually applied by a blocking machine to a superior standard.

Titles, names, dates etc are
the most typical requirements for our clients and it is ideal for personalising books and diaries that are set from our range of metal type.

Logos and shapes can also be embossed and clients need to supply quality black and white
artwork so that a metal blocking
die can be made.

This process takes three or four days longer as the metal block is made elsewhere. It is necessary to point out that "what you see is what you get" and that a clear, simple image produces the best results.
